Jigger (1/2, 3/4) (1, 2)

The simple double jigger is the one that is most commonly seen behind bars. It is to bartenders, what a measuring spoon is to a chef. Like measuring spoons, they measure quickly and efficiently when used for the measure they were designed for. This means you need to have several on hand to meet all of your needs. The typical measures are 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1-1/2, and 2 ounces. I have found that the best set to have is where one double-jigger measures 1/2 and 3/4 ounces, and another measures 1 and 2 ounces. Unfortunately the 1/2-3/4 jiggers can be rather hard to find for some reason. At latest check (6/14/2016) BarProducts.com appears to have a full range of sizes (including the 1/2-3/4) and at a fairly good price as well.
