Gin and Tonic

2 ounces gin

3 ounces tonic water

A safe standby, but there are certainly tastier, more exciting drinks. So why order this concotion when there are so many better ones out there? We suggest trying an Mojito instead. Or do yourself a favor: Lose the gin and just drink the water.

But in case you insist, here's the recipe for a Gin and Tonic. Stir gin and tonic water with ice; strain into a chilled tumbler filled with ice. Add a swizzle stick and serve. Variations: substitute vodka or white rum for gin.
