B-52
1/3 ounce Kahlua
1/3 ounce Grand Marnier
1/3 ounce Bailey's Irish Cream
If you order this, you'll get the hangover you deserve. Ask yourself why you're ordering this drink ... chances are, the answer has nothing to do with drinking cocktails. So why request this concoction, which is classed as a "shooter," when there are so many better drinks out there (assuming you're really after a good drink, of course)? We suggest trying any other drink - with or without alcohol. Besides, the recipe below is merely one of more than 2,000 versions. Typically, a bartender will mix a B-52 based on your behavior at the bar, not the ingredients you request. We've heard tales that this drink is often served as a pousse-café, with the ingredients added in the following order: Baily's, Grand Marnier, and then Kahlua.
But in case you insist, here's the recipe for a B-52,
though we really suggest just listening to the band's music or watching the plane.
Stir
all the ingredients with ice;
strain into a chilled tumbler
filled with ice. Swallow it before you can taste it.
