There are a wide variety of coffee liqueurs on the market, but Kahlúa is the most widely known. Basically, Kahlúa is made from coffee, vanilla and various secret spices in a neutral grain base. Another well-known coffee liqueur Tia Maria is owned today by Pernod-Ricard, the same company that owns Kahlúa.
