Galliano is a sweet Italian liqueur made from around 30 different ingredients, some of them include star anise, Mediterranean anise, ginger, vanilla, juniper, lavender, and peppermint. It's complex processing includes 7 infusions and 6 distillations.

Recently, they returned to their original 84.6 proof recipe, which isn't quite as sweet as the previously available 60 proof recipe.

Galliano is packaged in a very distinctive, and tall, bottle. It is said that it's was designed to be reminiscent of a classical Roman column.
