Orange-flower water

Although we've never seen the illustrious orange flower that, when steeped, transforms into the most exotic ingredient of the Ramos Gin Fizz, we've come across its derivative at some of the better liquor stores and drugstores around town.

During the 1930s, the orange-flower water used in Henry Ramos's gin fizzes was said to have inspired customers to exclaim: "It's like drinking a flower." We're not too sure about that, but at two bucks a bottle - a lifetime's supply of 6 ounces - we're willing to buy it.
