Crème de Cacao

This is a sweet liqueur, made from cacao and vanilla beans, that's brown or colorless. Cacao, as most sweet tooths are aware, is also used to make cocoa and chocolate, so a little goes a long way in a cocktail.

If the word Chouao appears on the label of a bottle of this cordial, you know you've got the good stuff. Chouao is a district of Venezuela that's renowned for its cacao.
