Recipes Garlic mashed red potatoes

Serves four

7 cloves of garlic, coarsely chopped
7 medium-sized red potatoes
4 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup of milk
Black pepper

Rinse the potatoes, but don't peel them. Chop into eighths. Put into a pot of water. Add the coarsely chopped garlic and a teaspoon of salt. Bring to a boil, with a lid on the pot, and let boil for about 10 minutes, until a knife can go through the pieces.

Drain the water, and, with a fork, begin mashing the potatoes. Add butter and some of the milk until a decent consistency is reached. Sprinkle in salt and pepper to taste.

Preparation time: 10 minutes
