Clam Canapés
Serves 4
1 can of minced clams, drained
1 package of cream cheese
24 slices of Melba toast
Dash of Worcestershire sauce
Dash of horseradish sauce
1 teaspoon minced onion
1 egg white, beaten
Several sprigs of fresh horseradish and parsley
Mix clams, cream cheese, and spices with well-beaten egg white. Smooth a tablespoon of the mixture on the toasts. Broil until golden brown and raised. Garnish with fresh horseradish and parsley sprigs.
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 2 to 5 minutes
